Last Friday another worker and I took three brothers from Foster Care to Fun Expedition to let them visit with one another. Tamra was out of school so I took her with us. They all had a good time. The other worker and I? Well, they wore us out! HA! I think I would have been less tired if I had worked in the office all day! Shoo, I am getting old!
The JV Team played JI Burton at home on the 17th. Tay played 3rd base and he pitched the last inning. I can't remember the score but I do know we beat them. The next night the Varsity team played Cumberland, KY and we lost by a couple of points, it was just a scrimmage. Taylor plays on the Varsity team as well as the JV team this year! I think that makes about a total of 44 games not to mention little extra 'scrimmages' we have here and there! I was exhausted before so I can just imagine how I will be when baseball is over!! UGH!
Leon caught this catfish on his first fishing trip of the year. I have no idea what kind of catfish he said this was but I did hear catfish. I think he said it weighed 38lbs. Looks gross to me! I'm just curious where it is now because I never actually saw this thing with my eyes. I guess if it is somewhere close I will smell it! LOL!
Here's Tamra posing with all of her Valentines. Two little boys gave her some things as well as her family. She really racked up this year.
I received 2 dozen roses plus four more for a total of 28 at work on Valentines. I'm not sure why 28 but that's what I got. The vase and arrangement was so huge I had to leave them at work. I finally brought some home and kept a few a work. It was really too much. I like flowers but can't help but feel it is a huge waste of money.
This day isn't very exciting for me but I know others have a ball on Superbowl sunday. I dropped Taylor off at his Youth minister's home for a Superbowl party. We were invited to my aunt and uncles for a party but Tamra and I chose to stay home and relax. I'm not much for partying when I can sit around and relax! HA!
Here is a picture of my late Christmas present from Leon. Walmart was a little late getting this item to us but it was well worth the wait. It is a glass square with my Dad's picture in the middle and it's 3D!! It sits on a a glass circle with a light inside it which shines through the square. It really makes the picture come to life. I really love it! Leon did very well this year.
It is so cold outside I can barely stand it! My heatpump seems to stay on all the time. I actually had to put a heater underneath the thermostat because it was staying on forever! Who ever said heat pumps were worth the money?!! I am fed up with this crazy thing!
