Leon caught this catfish on his first fishing trip of the year. I have no idea what kind of catfish he said this was but I did hear catfish. I think he said it weighed 38lbs. Looks gross to me! I'm just curious where it is now because I never actually saw this thing with my eyes. I guess if it is somewhere close I will smell it! LOL!

It's a paddlefish (Polyodon spathula). This is the information that Larry's nephew, a fish biologist for Va Game Dept, sent to me. I agree its an ugly fish just like you said. Hope its good eating.
