Tay about to steal first base.
Tay after the game with his most prized possesion, sunflower seeds! HA! I got him in mid action!
Here is Grayson with his Thomas the Tank Engine hat! His most favorite thing to watch is Thomas! Everytime I watch him we watch Thomas over and over again. He hasn't mastered his T's just yet so he calls it, "Momas" and then he will sound out the T by saying "T-T-T" It is so cute! His mommy and daddy try to get him to say the T with Thomas so this is how he has figured out how to say "Thomas"!
Sammy gets a new haircut. Check out his St. Patricks Day bandana around his neck! Is he in style or what? He seems to have a new kick in his step now that he isn't weighed down with all that hair! Just thought I would post a little picture or our outside buddy. He has lost his covered porch but he still enjoys sitting on our new porch covered or uncovered he doesn't really care. He stays under the house right now since we don't have any underpinning at the moment. Guess that might be awhile! Takes quite a bit of money to do any extras to a new house! How do people do it? Beats me!! Wish I knew their secret!
This is the quote of the week for me~! People just need to steer clear of me right now! I am a time bomb waiting to explode! This whole moving 'thing' has put me over the edge! I need a few days alone in order to clear my mind and get things in order around here! Didn't people get the memo that when a person is moving life needs to stop???!!! HA! Wish it was the easy!
Well, yesterday was our official moving day! We got the go ahead to move in and I took full advantage of it. We began moving in as much stuff as possible in order for us to be able to stay at our new home. I moved in three truck loads by myself! Once Taylor and my stepson, Jared got up I had them moving as much of the big stuff as they good could their hands on. The only big things left are my washer and dryer. I have no idea how we are going to get those two things into our house! There is still a huge step at the back and unless we make a ramp I don't see how it will work? I will leave that to Leon. He is currently on his four day work week so he won't be able to do to much until tuesday. We are hoping a crew will come and pick up our old home this week so we can get that ugly mess out of our front yard! It is also sitting at the end of my driveway so we are making a muddy mess when we drive to our house! There seems to be mud everywhere right now. It is good that the weather has warmed up but it has cause everything to thaw out and become very 'mushy'. It is not a good thing let me tell ya! HA! I won't complain though at least for now. Today the temp got up to 65degrees and yet I have heard we may get snow tomorrow night! HA! You just never know from day to day what the weather will bring! Well, anyway just wanted everyone to know we are now living at our new home mess and all! I am so overwhelmed I don't know where to start! I know things will all come together so I will try not to get stressed! Wish me luck!!
Grayson, Amber, and Brian came by to see our new house today. Grayson was running all over the empty house! He was in heaven! Here he is hiding in our cabinet in the living room. He had a good time playing peek a boo. Notice how his feet are crossed! He always sits like that! It is so cute!
Well, it looks like we might be getting some snow! It is coming down pretty hard right now. I am hoping we get quite a bit. I think it looks so pretty. Don't want 12 feet or so but a few inches would be nice! I can't believe Chicago got so much snow this year! It is hard for me to fathom! 12 FEET! Wow! Our prayers surely need to go out to that group of people!
Things have not changed yet for our new home. The drywall man said he will be back monday to finish his part. After that I guess the person that comes to paint and finish up the rest of the inside will be here tuesday, I hope. We had another disappointment today. Looks like the cold weather has frozen our water pipes and we had one section to burst! Isn't that just great?! Looks like we couldn't move in even if they had finished this weekend. The temp got down to nine degrees the other night and even though we had heat tape on the pipes they still burst. Can't be helped when the pipes are not protected from the cold. Oh well, just another job for Leon to add to the already stressful event.
