Taylor

Here's Taylor doing what he does best. He got an XBOX 360 from his dad for Christmas and now he sits here playing and talking on his new game. If you will notice he has a little microphone coming from the right side of his face. He is actually talking to the person he is plaing! Isn't technology great? Also notice the major clutter all around him! As you can see we are in process of boxing up everything we can in order to move.

OUR NEW HOME (TO BE)

WELL, IT IS OFFICIAL. LEON AND I TOOK THE PLUNGE AND BOUGHT A NEW DOUBLE WIDE, MODULAR HOME! WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CALL IT! I JUST CALL IT A BIGGER HOME! HA! THIS IS A PICTURE OF THE HOME ON THE LOT SO IT ISN'T EVEN PUT TOGETHER BUT YOU CAN AT LEAST GET AN IDEA OF WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE! WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF PACKING ALL OF OUR STUFF AND MOVING THINGS AROUND OUTSIDE OF OUR HOME. WE PLAN TO PUT THE NEW HOME EXACTLY WHERE OUR TRAILER SITS NOW. I DREAD THE WHOLE 'MOVING' THING BUT IN THE END IT WILL BE WORTH IT! RIGHT???? AFTER LOOKING AND LOOKING ALL OVER LEE COUNTY FOR A NEW HOME I FINALLY JUST DECIDED TO CONTINUE LIVING WHERE WE ARE NOW. I HATE THE THOUGHT OF LEAVING MY MAMAW RIGHT NOW SO I FEEL LIKE THIS WAS THE BEST DECISION WE COULD MAKE AT THE PRESENT TIME. OUR CURRENT HOME IS FALLING APART AND WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF ROOM! I WAS REALLY DESPERATE TO DO SOMETHING AND DO IT QUICK! WE GOT A REALLY GOOD DEAL AND COULDN'T LET IT SLIP BY! I AM A BIT DISAPPOINTED HOWEVER BECAUSE IT WASN'T THE EXACT FLOOR PLAN THAT I WANTED ORIGINALLY. IT IS A NICE HOME WITH PLENTY OF SPACE BUT WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR HEART SET ON SOMETHING ELSE IT CAN BE A BIT OF A LET DOWN! IN THE END WE HAD TO GO WITH THE BEST DEAL AND WHAT WE COULD AFFORD! HA! THAT'S THE WAY IT ALWAYS GOES, RIGHT? JUST WISH US LUCK AND PRAY THAT LEON AND I DON'T KILL EACHOTHER IN THIS MOVING PROCESS!!! HA!

OH YEAH, IT WILL BE A FEW WEEKS BEFORE WE CAN MOVE THE HOME ONTO OUR PROPERTY! PRAY THAT THE ZONING COMMITTEE WILL ALLOW US TO MOVE IT A LITTLE SOONER!!!

Grayson in Puppy Prison

While babysitting my nephew last week he decided he wanted to go into the cage with Annie. He just loved it in there and thought it was so funny that he was sitting right next to Annie. I literally had to pull him out! Annie thought she was in so much trouble! It was really funny!

Friendship

Here is my best friend from high school, Sherry. We took some pictures right before Christmas when we met to exchange gifts. Sunday is her birthday!! This is my birthday gift to her! HA! Sorry Sherry, I had to post this picture of us!! You know I love you!!! :)

Senior Night

Jared had a great game thursday night against the Rose Hill Panthers. It was senior night for the 7th graders where he was recognized with his parents. His mom and dad escorted him out onto the basketball court. After the presentation Jared played a great game where his team the Ewing Panthers won 46 to 34, at least I think that was the finaly score! Either way they won and it was a really great game! Way to go Jared! They are currently in first place for the regular season so now they will begin to play in the tournaments for number one!

Tea Party

Here is Tamra and some of her friends. Maggie invited Tamra over for a Tea Party and while they were there they took this picture. I think the girls really had alot of fun. It was right up any girls alley with tea, cake, makeup, and fingernail polish!

To the Martin Family

We give sympathy to my Great Uncle Lawrence's family. He passed away sat. at the age of 86. He was the last sibling of my Papaw Martin.

Christmas at my Mom and Kennys

On Christmas morning after we open gifts at home we head straight to moms where she fixes us all breakfast and then we open gifts. It is a great time for us all. Here is Grayson opening his daddy's gift for him from mom and Kenny.
Here is the last gift of the morning. Amber and I took pictures of the kids and had it put onto a blanket for mom and Kenny. Doesn't it look so real? Mom cried and made me and Amber cry! It was a very emotional Christmas! Taylor? He just laughed! ha!

Christmas at The Bellamy's

We got to spend time with the Bellamy's this year since they had dinner on Christmas day. They had the same kind of swap as the Martins. I think they call it the Chinese Swap. I call it by where I am such as the martins or in this case the Bellamy Swap. Anyway, it was a lot of fun. I always enjoy watching people steal from others........until it happens to me! ha! Christmas Day

In between our stops to moms and the Bellamys we went to Mamaw Stapletons to see her for Christmas. I tried to get her to come with us but she refused. I'm just glad we got to see her!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we always go to my mamaw and papaw martins to eat, open presents, play games, and mingle. This is a picture of my mom with her side of the family. We play a game where we pass a present while there is music playing. When the musice stops whoever has the present tries to open it. As u can see Kendall was trying to open it while his wife, Shelley is trying to keep her distance! The men in our family can get pretty dangerous if you get to close to them. HA!
Perfect example! Look at Taylor trying to tear into it! I think Leon finally won in the end. We had a lot of fun!

Our prayers are with him and her as well......

Jared opening his gifts from us on Christmas Eve. As a ritual the kids get to open one gift on Christmas Eve. Since Jared would only be here one day we let him open all of his gifts at once.

Tamra had 60pts to use at the Awana Mart at Awanas wednesday night and she used them all to buy this big gumball machine.
